my favorite things....

i start counting down in the winter... 10 more weeks ...

7 more weeks... sometimes it seems to take for ever. it is one of my favorite days of the year.

the day i go to Fern's green house for the first time.

i  go to buy a new rose bush (or two ) every year.

you have to go early while there is still a good selection - even though i will have to baby them

for a month. bringing them out into the sunshine then back in to avoid the cold night. i go with my husband who works in that small town once a week,

 shops lowly in the gift shop, go for lunch ( in the hockey arena!!!)

wait for him at the end of the day reading in the vehicle.

... it is an occasion.

it means we have survived another long winter

and spring is here!
